Colin Batch as the new head coach for the Kookaburras
Hockey Australia confirmed Colin Batch as the new head coach for the Australian national hockey team the Kookaburras.
His nomination was made public by Hockey Australia Chief Executive Cam Vale who said: “Colin excelled throughout the recruitment process in what was a very competitive process with applicants from around the world. The board at Hockey Australia truly believes that he is the candidate who will take our national team to the next level as we look to the new four-year cycle."
At Dragons we know this is a wise decision, Colin left Dragons in 2012 as head coach after two and a half years with two successive national titles and a brilliant EHL campaign. We congratulate our good friend Colin with this exciting new job.
