Though Gantoise haven’t had a great start this season we knew that it wouldn’t be an easy game but we had the motivation to put on a good game and win some points against the Champion of last season. The possession at the beginning of the game was pretty even but unfortunately, Gantoise scored quickly a goal 0-1.

During the first half we had lots of occasions to score without success. It’s during the second half after two penalty corner that Steph took the stroke and put the ball in the net ( Magnifique ! ) 1-1. During the whole game, we played as a team in combination, we didn’t rush even with one goal behind, and with this patience and the nice game we played, we finally scored a second goal on Penalty corner: sleep from Caro H. to Shirley : 2-1. We were clearly the best team on the field in the second half but unfortunately at the last five minutes after that Shirley was send off with a yellow card we lost a bit of our concentration and organisation so Gantoise took benefits of it and got a stroke which Lolo almost stopped but it was 2-2. Directly after the goal, we did put lots of pressure on their defence and got a PC at the last 30 sec but the ball was hitten to high in the goal. Score final 2-2, but we had all the capacity to win the game.
